A great British classic, ostensibly a children’s book, but read and loved throughout so many lives, (and of course lending a chapter title to Pink Floyd!) Beginning with Mole’s spring cleaning, his encounter with Ratty and then with the enormous character of Toad. This edition illustrated by E.H. Shepard of Winnie the Pooh fame. This is a fairly old edition but the book cover and front pages were in tatters so now the pages are protected.
