Informed by ongoing visual research practice towards my current PhD, this image includes a recall of the ‘snatches’ motif of my earlier art works from around 2006-8. As in other more recent works the camera bellows motif has become emblematic of the space for physical / chemical acts of observation / reproduction / perception in light and notions of reality, subjectivity, distortion.
